オロフレ峠は、標高930mの峠道で、紅葉の季節には断崖絶壁に色づく木々が迫力ある景観を生み出す。展望台からは洞爺湖や有珠山まで見渡せ、秋晴れの日には遠く羊蹄山も望めることも。ドライブやツーリングにも人気で、自然の雄大さと紅葉の繊細さが同時に味わえる贅沢なスポット。
