気比の松原は、日本三大松原の一つに数えられる美しい海岸線の景勝地です。約1.5kmにわたる白砂の浜辺と、約17,000本の赤松・黒松が織りなす風景は圧巻で、潮風と松の香りが心を癒します。夏は海水浴場として賑わい、歩道も整備されているため散策にも最適です。毎年8月には、海上に浮かぶ灯籠と花火が幻想的な雰囲気を演出する「灯籠流しと花火大会」が開催されます。歴史ある松原には、異賊を退けたという伝説も残り、自然と文化が調和する特別な場所です。

Kehi no Matsubara (Pine Tree Park) is a scenic coastal area in Tsuruga, Fukui Prefecture, Japan. It is known for its 1.5-kilometer-long sandy beach, lined with approximately 17,000 Japanese red and black pine trees. The contrast between the white sand, green pines, and the blue Sea of Japan makes it a stunning natural attraction.
Designated as a National Site of Scenic Beauty, Kehi no Matsubara is considered one of Japan’s three most beautiful pine parks, alongside Miho no Matsubara in Shizuoka and Niji no Matsubara in Saga. The park features walking trails, a ship-themed playground, and hosts a fireworks festival each August, where lanterns float on the sea, creating a magical atmosphere.
