「秋はもみじの永観堂」と称されるほど、紅葉の美しさは格別。境内の放生池に映るもみじや多宝塔からの眺望は、まるで絵巻物のよう。夜間ライトアップも幻想的で、秋の京都を代表する名所。
A famous spot for autumn leaves known as “Eikando of Autumn Maples”
The beauty of the autumn leaves is so exceptional that it is called “Eikando of maple leaves in autumn.” The maple leaves reflected in the Hojo Pond on the temple grounds and the view from the Tahoto Pagoda are like a picture scroll. The nighttime illuminations are also fantastic, making it one of Kyoto’s most famous autumn spots.
