蔵王中央高原にひっそりと佇む不動滝は、落差15mの分岐瀑で、深緑の季節には水勢豊かに、紅葉の頃には静寂に包まれる幻想的な景観が魅力。源義家が戦の祈願をしたという伝承も残る霊験あらたかな滝で、自然と歴史が交差する神秘的な空間です。蔵王中央ロープウェイ鳥兜駅から徒歩約40分、ドッコ沼からは約30分の散策路も整備されており、初心者でも気軽にアクセス可能。蔵王温泉街からの立ち寄りにも最適です。

Fudo Falls, quietly nestled in the Zao Central Plateau, is a 15m-high bifurcated waterfall that is full of water in the deep green season and envelops in silence during the autumn foliage season, creating a fantastical landscape. Legend has it that Minamoto no Yoshiie prayed for success in battle here, making it a miraculous waterfall and a mystical space where nature and history intersect. There are walking trails about 40 minutes on foot from Zao Central Ropeway Torikabuto Station and about 30 minutes from Dokko Numa, making it easily accessible even for beginners. It’s also a great place to stop by from Zao Onsen Town.
