A place to quietly convey the importance of peace to the future
The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum is a place that quietly but profoundly conveys the reality of the atomic bombing. Through relics, photographs, and a model of Hiroshima immediately after the bombing, you can experience the tragedy of war and the preciousness of peace. The message “we must not forget” that is embedded in each and every exhibit is deeply engraved in the hearts of visitors, encouraging them to take action for the future. Surrounded by the quietly speaking atmosphere of the museum, you will begin a journey to reexamine your own meaning of “peace.”
