香山公園は、桜と五重塔が織りなす“和の絶景”が魅力。春になると境内の桜が一斉に咲き、国宝・瑠璃光寺五重塔とのコントラストが息をのむほど美しい。歴史の重みと春の華やかさが同時に感じられ、歩くだけで心が落ち着く。写真スポットも多く、特に夕暮れ時の桜と塔のシルエットは格別。観光客にも人気だが、広い園内でゆったり過ごせるのも嬉しい。山口を代表する春の名景。

Koyama Park is captivating with its “Japanese-style scenery” created by cherry blossoms and a five-story pagoda. In spring, the cherry blossoms in the temple grounds bloom all at once, and the contrast with the national treasure Rurikoji Five-Story Pagoda is breathtakingly beautiful. You can feel the weight of history and the splendor of spring at the same time, and just walking around brings peace to your mind. There are many photo opportunities, and the silhouette of the cherry blossoms and pagoda at dusk is especially exceptional. It is popular with tourists, but it is also nice to be able to spend time leisurely in the spacious park. It is one of Yamaguchi’s representative spring landscapes.
