Tropical sea and white sand, Tsushima’s proud “impressive beach”

Miudahama Beach in Tsushima City, Nagasaki Prefecture, is one of Tsushima’s most picturesque beaches, having been selected as one of the “100 Best Beaches in Japan.” The natural white sand, made up of extremely fine seashells, and the emerald green sea that sparkles in the sunlight create a beauty reminiscent of a tropical resort. There is also an adjacent campground, a hot spring facility called “Nagisa no Yu,” and a pension, making it ideal not only for swimming but also for leisure stays. The views from the observation points and the romantic scenery at sunset are also appealing, making this a soothing beach where you can experience nature with all five senses.
