日本一のスケールを誇る古墳群、西都原古墳群（さいとばるこふんぐん）は、なんと300基以上の古墳が壮大な台地に点在する、まるで“緑の王国”。春は菜の花の黄色と桜のピンクが風に揺れ、ツツジがその景色にリズムを添えてくれます。夏はアジサイの青、ヒマワリの黄金が陽射しに映えてキラキラ。そして秋、コスモスの優しい色合いが一面に広がり、歴史の舞台を彩ってくれます。
