広島・福山市の山あいに佇む「神勝寺 禅と庭のミュージアム」は、禅の精神と日本庭園、現代アートが融合した唯一無二の癒やし空間。約7万坪の境内には、坐禅や写経が体験できる堂宇、白隠禅画のギャラリー、ヒノキ風呂の浴室、そして幻想的なアートパビリオン《洸庭》などが点在し、五感で“禅”を感じることができます。静寂の中で自分と向き合い、心を整える時間は、まさに現代人に必要な“心の旅”。日常を離れ、深呼吸したくなる場所です。

Shinshoji Zen and Garden Museum, nestled in the mountains of Fukuyama City, Hiroshima, is a one-of-a-kind healing space where the spirit of Zen, Japanese gardens, and contemporary art come together. The approximately 230,000m2 grounds are dotted with a hall where you can experience zazen and copying sutras, a gallery of Hakuin Zen paintings, a cypress bath, and the fantastical art pavilion Kotei, allowing you to experience Zen with all five senses. The time to face yourself in silence and settle your mind is a “journey of the heart” that modern people need. It’s a place where you can escape from your everyday life and take a deep breath.
