Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, towering over the skyscrapers of Shinjuku, is a spectacular spot where you can get a panoramic view of Tokyo from its observation deck. From 202 meters above ground, you can see all the way to Mt. Fuji on a clear day. You can enjoy illuminations and projection mapping at night, and events are held in the Citizens’ Square. While it is the center of government, it is also an open urban space where tourism, learning, and art come together.
