千体観音像が並ぶ圧巻の空間
1001体の千手観音像が並ぶ圧巻の空間。中央の本尊や風神雷神像、二十八部衆など見応え抜群。通し矢の舞台としても知られ、静寂と荘厳さが共存する唯一無二の仏堂。自分に似た観音像を探すのも楽しみのひとつ。
A spectacular space lined with a thousand Kannon statues
A spectacular space with 1001 Thousand-Armed Kannon statues lined up. The main image in the center, the wind god and thunder god statues, and the 28 deities are all well worth seeing. This one-of-a-kind Buddhist temple is also known as the stage for the Tsushi-ya archery match, and is a place where silence and grandeur coexist. One of the fun things to do is find a Kannon statue that resembles you.
