日蓮宗の総本山として750年の歴史を誇る身延山久遠寺。荘厳な伽藍と樹齢数百年の杉並木が迎える境内は、心を静める祈りの空間。春は枝垂れ桜、秋は紅葉が彩る参道も見どころ。ロープウェイで奥之院へ登れば、富士山を遥拝する神聖な絶景が広がります。

Mount Minobu Kuonji Temple boasts a 750-year history as the head temple of the Nichiren sect. The grounds, with their stately buildings and rows of cedar trees hundreds of years old, are a space for calming prayer. The approach to the temple, decorated with weeping cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in autumn, is also a highlight. If you take the ropeway up to Okunoin, you will be treated to a sacred and magnificent view of Mount Fuji in the distance.
