三ツ石山は裏岩手縦走路に位置する標高1,466mの山で、本州で最も早く紅葉が始まる場所として知られています。山頂からは岩手山を背景に、赤・黄・橙の絨毯が広がる絶景が楽しめます。登山道は整備されており、日帰りでも十分に紅葉を堪能可能。早朝の澄んだ空気の中で見る紅葉は、まさに自然からの贈り物です。

Mt. Mitsuishi is a 1,466m mountain located on the Ura-Iwate Traverse Route, and is known as the place where the leaves begin to change color earliest in Honshu. From the summit, you can enjoy a spectacular view of a carpet of red, yellow, and orange against the backdrop of Mt. Iwate. The hiking trails are well maintained, so you can fully enjoy the autumn leaves even on a day trip. The autumn leaves seen in the clear air of early morning are truly a gift from nature.
