Shukkeien Garden, located in the center of Hiroshima City, is a veritable oasis in the city where you can feel the tranquility and beauty of the seasons. Built in the early Edo period, this feudal lord’s garden is a “miniature natural world” where the scenery changes as you walk through it, with skillfully arranged ponds, bridges, and artificial hills.
